The paper presents the results of development and modelling a broadband antenna system for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) direction finding. research covered issues analytical description based on prototype – Vivaldi antennas. article mathematical element model. An experimental relationship between geometrical parameters characteristics has been established. A review current state issue designing systems concept building ultra-wideband directional elements in absence phase centre carried out. main trends modern design are determined. proposed determined by method modelling. frequency range under various excitation conditions studied, specifics application such its possible use as part UAV direction-finding complexes given. most optimal option an is with expanding slot (similar to antennas). At present, these antennas widely used devices, namely, radio reconnaissance medical equipment, etc. Their popularity due presence advantages over other antennas, among which wide operating range, simple design, manufacturing requirements, high gain. In this paper, we considered Tapered Slot Antenna widening slot. designed modelled modified (an quasi-slot line expansion), being developed complex UAV.
